March 1: Design Strategies for Keeping Content Relevant: As anyone who has deployed digital signage will tell you, you can have amazing screen technology and placement, but without great content and a content plan to go with all that technology, your deployment will not live up to its potential. Content comes in a wide range of forms and sources, including informational, promotional, social, experiential, interactive, entertainment, and ambient. This panel of experts will explain what content works in which environments, how to find and create content, and the best uses of that content.

April 12: Digital Signage Venue Analytics: Attendees will learn the latest technologies to capture data on how customers move and engage throughout the physical journey and how they interface with digital signage. We'll explore how measurement technologies can interface with and be layered on top of digital signage with CMS Software platforms to perform rules-based tasks. We'll also look at alternative definitions of not only what to measure, but how – including ROI, ROO, User Journeys, and other ways to know if your digital signage is performing in the greater context of the venue ecosystem.

May 3: Emerging Digital Signage Trends:Explore the latest trends across key commercial environments from retail to banking, stadiums to higher education, and how digital signage has enabled them – the new form factors, applications, software, and content experiences that are gaining traction and could become more mainstream to scale. Learn about emerging trends that force the pro AV and digital signage communities to think about design integration differently – as well as the new technologies that should be noted as experiences to watch, and plan for this year.

September 6: Challenges within Digital Signage Media Platforms: From proprietary system-on-a-chip (SoC) to the vast variety of external media players, navigating the vast world of digital signage media platforms is no easy task. This panel session explores the challenges most often faced with cross-platform deployments and how some of the most daunting ones can be overcome. When considering a digital signage network deployment, the odds are that you already might have some devices in your network or need to mix-and-match new devices to serve your different use cases. This panel is here to help you form your strategy and avoid unnecessary mistakes when working with multiple different platforms.

October 4: Let's Take 5 Lessons from 5th Avenue: Listen and learn what top gurus would rate the best and worst of 5th Avenue brands and what they'd change to make it more practical, purposeful, or powerful. We'll unpack famous brands' digital thumbing and chat through the signature moments that solve pain points, elevate the brick-and-mortar experience, enhance the shopping and browsing experience – or do NONE of the above. This is a tell-all, no holds barred look at the ordinary and the extraordinary.

November 1: Immersive and Informative Lobby Experiences: Ever walked into a lobby and have been so wowed you never wanted to leave? Or has your experience of lobbies been mindless, bland, and totally forgettable? This session will address the magic and wonder that digital technology can bring to lobby spaces, and the value it brings in terms of mood, wonder, and expectation. Lobbies are a canvas, and digital technology, lighting, sound, and scent are the architect "paints" to capture the imagination, deliver museum-quality impact, and set the tone for what to expect from the businesses housed above. We'll unpack how to assess a lobby space, and key considerations for its transformation based on its purpose.
